“Pengxin Philanthropic Action” is a new theme for PengxinGroup to perform its social mission, encourage all its staff to work diligentlyand make a great contribution to the public welfare. Pengxin Mining established"Pengxin Mining Love Fund" under the unified call of the Group to cooperatewith  Shanghai Charity Foundation.Through fund-raising, Pengxin Mining aims to support relevant assistanceprojects of the foundation, pass on Pengxin’s care and love and jointly buildsocial harmony.

    Recently, Pengxin Mining launched its first assistance campaign with Shanghai Charity Foundation for a poor university freshman student. Since being aware of her difficult situation, the company immediately launched "Pengxin Philanthropic Action" donation event within the company. The leading group of the company actively took the lead in donation, and all the staff also make contribution to give their love. The company eventually raised nearly 10,000 Yuan in donation, of which 3,000 Yuan was used for the student's first donation and the balance will continue to be used for related assistance projects.

    Pengxin Mining has always been actively advocating public welfare. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the company also actively pursues and continuously pays attention to social welfare. SMCO responded to various public welfare events sponsored by the municipal government for many times, for example, repairing school buildings, donation of schoolbags and stationery, disaster relief and fire fighting, repairing road and building bridge. In 2018, over US $400,000 was put into public welfare.

    Pengxin Mining continues to actively assume social responsibility and fulfill its commitments to the state, society, employees, shareholders, investors and customers, and make due contributions to the healthy, harmonious and sustainable development of the society. Today, Pengxin Mining officially releases its “ Annual Social Responsibility Report 2018” and “Annual Report 2018” at the same time.
