Keeping Missions in Mind, Agglomerating Mental Efforts – The First Lecture of the “Basic Business Theory” Series Training Course

Since 2019, the company has introduced many professional talents and built up a professional team capable of fighting hard battles. As a multinational listed company, honing and mastery of professional knowledge and in-depth understanding of the company’s business will certainly help every employee to improve their work efficiency. Regarding employee training as the top priority for the company’s continuous and rapid development of talents and ability improvement, the company has provided fertile soil for training by introducing a large number of professional talents and teams.

Under the close attention of the company’s management and Human Resources and Administration Department, the company will focus on organizing a series of “Basic Business Theory” training courses for employees in the second half of 2019, and the course of “Mining Foundation” is the starting course of this series of training courses. Guohua Chen, assistant president and chief geologist of the company, and Yuxiang Liu, assistant president volunteered to be the training instructors for the starting course “Mining Foundation” (the first phase). Before the training, Human Resources and Administration Department has conducted training demand research at all departments through cooperation with the two training instructors, and the two training instructors has produced targeted and qualified courseware according to the training demands of each department and their own training plans in a very short time. 

On the afternoon of August 13th, the company successfully carried out the training of “Mining Foundation”, and personnel from important departments of the company attended the training class. Employees in all departments were enthusiastic in the training course and many employees volunteered to participate in the training courses. 


At the beginning of the training, Yuxiang Liu, the assistant president of the company, taught some professional knowledge on mining. Yuxiang Liu has a doctor’s degree and years of experience in well-known mining industry as the senior management. Mr. Liu training courseware showed an excellent combination of pictures and texts and interspersed with many beautiful animations, and systematically introduced many important concepts such as mineral deposit, mine, mining equipment, mining method and stripping ratio, etc. to the employees according to the mining process. Employees were absorbed by such interesting and vivid lesson and listened attentively. No doubt that the participants would have a framework understanding of mining after more than one-hour course. 



Guohua Chen, assistant president and chief geologist of the company, gave a lecture on geological knowledge. Guohua Chen has a doctor’s degree and a wealth of teaching experience at Jilin University as a lecturer and associate professor, and he has served as senior management in some famous mining enterprises for many years as well. The courseware showed everyone a magical geological world through an easy-to-understand description based on a geological report. Both the training instructor and the trainees had an extraordinary journey to the geological knowledge world in a happy and relaxed manner through frequent interactions. I believe it would be of great help to the employees with little or no knowledge of geology. 

The training is a good start for the series of mining foundation training and has achieved the results as expected. The Human Resources and Administration Department has handed out the training courseware to the trainees after the class, hoping everyone could review what they have learned in the training and learning new knowledge that have not discussed in the training. The training has initially established a good learning atmosphere in the company, which helps all departments and employees to learn from each other and further deepen the businesses, so as to solve problems encountered in the work better. The Human Resources and Administration Department will take the “business” as the benchmark and make every effort to improve the training effect and do a better job in the future series of training work.
