With the aim to further build a better atmosphere of the company, promote the construction of corporate culture, and stimulate the working enthusiasm of the employees, Pengxin Mining has actively carried out a series of corporate culture activities of different forms and types recently. All employees actively participated in and got involved in the heated atmosphere.


Employee care, warm greetings
Every employee is a family member of the company, the monthly birthday party is a day for family members to get together every month, and it is also a communication platform for colleagues to have deep understanding of each other. At each birthday party, company leadership would extend to the birthday person the warmest wishes and birthday gifts, and express their gratitude to the hard-working employees on behalf of the company. Liu Wei, an employee of the company, was moved and said: “I am really thankful that I have such good leaders and colleagues, and such an excellent working platform. I will keep on learning and making progress in the future, keeping pace with the development of the company, and making contributions to the company.”
The monthly birthday party of the company will be arranged by considering the working places of the birthday employees of the current month through a combined form of online and offline. It connects the hearts of both domestic and foreign employees.


Recreational activities inspire vitality
Vitality can be well inspired through combination of both dynamic and static activities. Organized and convened by the Human Resources and Administrative Department of the company, we have carried out the “Reading Season” activity and various sports activities recently through the form of a combination of both dynamic and static form. Different from previous activities, we used a questionnaire survey to learn about the real aspirations and ideas of employees from the perspective of employees, and carried out the corporate culture activities that are positive and enjoyed by employees. The “Reading Season” activity aims to further create a good self-learning atmosphere for the employees of the company. We would prepare a list of books covering management, techniques, and interests, etc. for employees every quarter, and employees could select the books they interested in to read. At the meantime, we also provide employees with table tennis courts, badminton courts, and gym venues, which would enable employees to keep fit while relieving work pressure. Such series of cultural and sports activities have gained unanimous praises by employees as such activities have edified the employees’ sentiment and enriched their lives.

Remain true to our original aspiration, agglomerate mental efforts
In late August, the Trade Department of Pengxin Mining carried out the theme party building activity of “Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, reminiscing the red original aspiration”. Through visiting the Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Memorial Museum of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and Sihang(meaning Four Banks) Warehouse Anti-Japanese War Memorial Museum, the employees had experienced the feelings of revolutionary elders in a true sense and had a detailed understanding of the heroic struggles and hard exploration made by our revolutionary elders in order to save the country and the nation from peril. The carefully sealed historical photos, the lifelike bronze statues, and the precious historical relics attracted us stop and gaze in awe, and enhanced the employees’ understanding and recognition of the spirit of the important speech “Though our Party's founding mission is easy to define, ensuring that we stay true to this mission is a more difficult task” delivered by the General Secretary Xi Jinping, and guided all employees of the Trade Department to “share a common stake and work shoulder by shoulder”, thereby providing a strong momentum of thought to make new contributions for the development of Pengxin Mining and the realization of “becoming the leading global provider of integrated resources” .
A series of corporate cultural activities of the company have enriched the leisure cultural life of employees, promoted the emotional interaction and communication among employees, enhanced the cohesion and centripetal force of employees, and provided a huge push for the construction of a positive and value-sharing atmosphere of the company, increased the endogenous power for the launching of next stage of work and laid a solid ideological foundation for the stride forward of the company.
