To further enrich the cultural and sports life ofPengxin Mining Congo (Kinshasa) SMCO employees, SMCO launched a photographycontest for cultural themed activities in May. Since the competition officiallykicked off in mid-May, employees from various departments have activelyparticipated and submitted photographic works around the theme of “Touching theReal and Keep the Good”. As of May 25, a total of 39 photographic works havebeen collected. In this selection, the entries will be judged anonymouslythrough public review. According to the final votes of each work, 1 firstprize, 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes will be selected.

Zhu Xiaowei, assistant to the president of Pengxin Mining and director ofpersonnel and administration, and Lu Weicong, deputy general manager of SMCO,discussed with the award-winning employees their experience in photographyactivities, and presented awards to the award-winning employees.

The entries in this photography competition cover landscapes, figures,buildings, etc., showing the creativity and talent of SMCO employees, and alsoproviding a platform for employees to learn and communicate, so that they canlearn from and inspire each other in the competition, and jointly improve theirphotography skills and aesthetic level.

In the future, SMCO will continue to hold various cultural and sportsactivities to provide employees with more opportunities to show themselves and exerciseskills, stimulate employees’ creativity and enthusiasm for participation, andpromote the diversified development of corporate culture construction.
